Appendix E - Statutory Priority Points

Progress is not saved in this system. You will need to start over if you leave or close the appendix page.

Carefully read and follow the directions on the website to complete the form and generate a PDF version that can be attached to the final application. All narrative responses and PDF appendices must be submitted as one application.

The authorizing statute states that priority consideration will be given to grant applicants who demonstrate a commitment to increasing diversity in the administrative workforce, have a higher percentage than other applicants of enrolled unduplicated pupils, as defined in Section 42238.02 of the Education Code, and have one or more schools that exhibit one or both of the following characteristics:

  1. A school where 50 percent or more of the enrolled pupils are eligible for free or reduced-price meals.
  2. A school that is located in either a rural location or a densely populated region.

Directions: Fill out the table to indicate if the applicant LEA or consortium qualifies for any of the statutory priority points. If the applicant does not have any qualifying schools, check off the box below the table.

Applicant responses will be compared during the technical review process by Commission staff.
